Lindner Razeea Mamode Ally – Rab V

She was born in 1967 in Port Louis, Mauritius. In the United Kingdom, she completed art and design school (Epsom School of Art & Design) in Surrey, then studied at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris. She received the Juliet Gomperts Memorial Scholarship from London, followed by a scholarship that funded her study trip to Tuscany. Love then led her to Germany where she was employed at the design studio Kunstflug for product design. During that time, she participated in art competitions, winning first prize at one of them, which marked the beginning of her artistic career in Germany. In 1997, she moved into her own studio in Düsseldorf. To date, she has held about fifteen solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Mauritius, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Croatia, and the United Kingdom. She has received five awards, one of which was granted in Croatia (Riva Art, Fažana), and the most recent at the Contemporary Art Festival in France (Senlis). She lives and works in Hilden, Germany. Her art always has a multiethnic and multicultural background, understanding and respecting her own national culture and tradition.
