Lindner Razeea Mamode Ally – Tearing III

She was born in 1967 in Port Louis, Mauritius. She completed art and design school (Epsom School of Art & Design) in Surrey, UK, then studied at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris. She received the Juliet Gomperts Memorial Scholarship from London, followed by a scholarship that financed her study trip to Tuscany. Love then led her to Germany, where she was employed at the design studio Kunstflug for product design. During this time, she participated in art competitions and won first prize at one, marking the beginning of her artistic career in Germany. In 1997, she moved into her own studio in Düsseldorf. To date, she has held about fifteen solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Mauritius, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Croatia, and the UK. She has won five awards, one of which was awarded in Croatia (Riva Art, Fažana), and the latest at the Contemporary Art Festival in France (Senlis). She lives and works in Hilden, Germany. Her art always has a multiethnic and multicultural background, with an understanding and respect for her own national culture and tradition.
