About the author:He was born in Trieste in 1940. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. He works in painting, graphics, set design, costume design, and book illustration. He is a recipient of the Prešeren Foundation Award for painting and set design. He has held over 40 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He lives and works in Trieste.
