About the author:

Born in 1953 in Livorno. As a young man, he followed his grandfather, a renowned Italian painter, becoming familiar with the period of Italian painting transitioning between the 1800s and 1900s.
In 1968, he enrolled in the school of applied arts (Liceo Artistico) and devoted himself to his painting instinct. By 1972, he held his first solo exhibition in Milan, where his work was appreciated for the personality expressed in his vedute. Numerous exhibitions across Italy followed, establishing him as an excellent figurative artist. During his many travels, he embraced and developed themes distant from our traditional perceptions, while simultaneously maturing his artistic experience. While living in the USA and Sri Lanka in 1987, he found an innovative approach that he incorporated into his paintings. In 1990, he was appointed secretary of the Labronico Group, one of the oldest artists’ associations, which included members such as Annigoni, Modigliani, and Nomellini in its history. He lives and works in Livorno, which dedicated an anthological exhibition to him at the “Bottini dell’olio.” To date, he has exhibited in numerous public and private galleries. In 2000, he was among the artists selected to mark the millennium, in 2002 exhibited in New York, and in 2003 in the Brussels Parliament.
