About the author:
He was born in 1944 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kathmandu and, as a scholarship holder, went to Paris where he has lived and created since 1967. To date, he has held almost fifty solo exhibitions and nearly one hundred group exhibitions in France and his native Nepal, as well as worldwide: India, USSR, Belgium, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Romania, Macedonia, Egypt, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Chile, USA…
He participated in numerous symposia and art gatherings, where he was also invited as an honorary guest and exhibitor at art salons, biennials, and triennials around the world. He is the author of illustrations for numerous artistic and social publications. Since 1969, his works have been included in the collections of many museums and private collections worldwide, including the Royal Nepal Academy in Kathmandu, the National Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul (South Korea), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Eivissa (Spain), and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (England).
