About the author:
He was born in 1944 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Kathmandu and, as a scholarship holder, moved to Paris where he has lived and created since 1967. So far, he has held nearly fifty solo exhibitions and almost one hundred group exhibitions in France, his native Nepal, and around the world: India, USSR, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Romania, Macedonia, Egypt, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Chile, USA…
He has participated in numerous symposia and art gatherings, where he was invited as an honorary guest and exhibitor at art salons, biennials, and triennials worldwide. He is the author of illustrations for numerous artistic and social publications. Since 1969, his works have been part of many museum and private collections worldwide, including the Royal Nepal Academy in Kathmandu, the National Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul (South Korea), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Eivissa (Spain), and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (England).
