About the author:

He was born in 1944 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kathmandu and, as a scholar, went to Paris where he has lived and worked since 1967. So far, he has held nearly fifty solo exhibitions and almost one hundred group exhibitions in France, his native Nepal, and worldwide: India, the USSR, Belgium, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Romania, Macedonia, Egypt, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Chile, USA…

He has participated in numerous symposiums and art gatherings, where he has also been invited as an honorary guest and exhibitor at art salons, biennials, and triennials worldwide. He is the author of illustrations for many artistic and social publications. Since 1969, his works have been part of collections in many museums and private collections around the world, including the Royal Nepal Academy in Kathmandu, the National Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul (South Korea), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Eivissa (Spain), and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (England).
