About the author:
He was born in 1988 in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb in 2007. He earned a degree in painting in the class of Prof. Zoltan Novak in 2014 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where he also obtained a master’s degree in painting.
Since 2014, he has presented himself to the public through two solo and several jury-selected group exhibitions, including the Painting Triennial 2015 and the 32nd Young Salon 2014. He is a member of the Croatian Society of Visual Artists (HDLU) and lives and works as a freelance artist in Zagreb.
He finds inspiration in everyday life, specifically in unique frames that he collects and selects as motifs for his paintings. Each of his works contains a dose of humor and absurdity, which makes his artistic expression recognizable.
