Miloš Prekop – Portrait of a Man

Miloš Prekop was born on January 31, 1967, in Smolenice (Slovakia). He studied at the Faculty of Education in Bratislava, specializing in painting. He has exhibited his paintings in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad. His paintings are part of many national and international collections. He has received numerous awards, some of which, such as the International Code of Slovakia and the bronze medal at the competition in Perla Adriatico, Italy, are particularly important to him. He is a member of the Western Slovak Union of Painters. He lives and works in Cifer (village of Pac) in Slovakia. In his artistic work, he has gone through an exceptionally rich and dynamic development. From conceptualism and constructivism to today’s expression, where symbolism and archetypes are the main carriers of the visual.
