Miloš Prekop – Woman on a Chair

Miloš Prekop was born on January 31, 1967, in Smolenice (Slovakia). He studied at the Faculty of Education in Bratislava, specializing in painting. He exhibits his paintings in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad. His paintings are part of many national and international collections. He has received numerous awards, some of which, such as the International Code of Slovakia and a bronze medal at the Perla Adriatico competition in Italy, are especially important to him. He is a member of the West Slovak Union of Painters. He lives and works in Cifer (Pac village) in Slovakia. His artistic work has undergone an exceptionally rich and dynamic development, from conceptualism and constructivism to today’s expression, in which symbolism and archetypes are the main carriers of the visual language.
