Nikšić Krešimir – Distant Spaces 5

He was born in Zagreb in 1961. He completed an author’s painting school in the class of Prof. Dino Trtovac, after which he enrolled at the College for Visual Arts in Ljubljana, graduating in the class of Assist. Prof. Dr. Tanja Mastnak and Prof. Dr. Darko Slavec. Occasionally, he works on illustrations, designs interiors, and theater scenography. The publishing house Znanje in Zagreb published his monograph Portrait of the Artist. He lives and works in Zagreb. In cooperation with UNESCO, his work was exhibited at the prestigious Espace Pierre Cardin gallery in Paris (1998). He is the recipient of the first prize for painting at the 13th International Biennial Art del Friuli Giulia (2002). He is a member of the professional associations HDLU and HZSU.
