About the author:
He was born in 1951 in Rijeka, where he still lives and works today. He has been professionally engaged in painting since 1973, and by 1978 he became a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists Rijeka, HDLU Zagreb, DNLU, and ZUH, gaining the status of an independent artist. During his rich career, he developed a versatile opus that, in addition to classical painting, includes graphics, sculpture, and more recently works in new media and interior design.
He began his exhibition activity in 1976, and to date has held an impressive 70 solo exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad. At the same time, he participated in over 300 group exhibitions and about 80 art colonies worldwide, which testifies to his exceptional productivity and international reputation. His works, awarded in numerous competitions, are part of the collections of renowned museums and galleries as well as prestigious private collections, thereby weaving him into the fabric of the contemporary Croatian art scene. Over five decades of continuous creation, he has developed a recognizable artistic expression that combines the skill of tradition with innovative approaches of contemporary artistic practice.
