Parlov Anita – Step into the Day 2

Anita Parlov was born in Zagreb on August 30, 1971. In 1989, she graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, textile department. She graduated in sculpture in 1997 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Mira Vuce. Since that year, she has been working as a professor of professional subjects at the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb. From 2000 until September 2006, she was the director of the exhibition salon “Izidor Krsnjavi” in Zagreb. So far, she has held five solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions since 1992. She is a member of HDLU. This year, together with Sinisa Majkus, she appeared at a highly acclaimed exhibition in Hungary. Her painting belongs to the tradition of lyrical abstraction, which today is more interpreted as color field painting.
