Pavlič Andrej – Minotaurusletharghius

Andrej Pavlič was born on 18.05.1957 in Ljubljana (Slovenia). After finishing high school, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, graduating in 1981. He was a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Slovenia DSLU from 1982 to 1984 and became an independent professional artist. In 1994, he improved his skills at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. He has participated in numerous artistic gatherings and colonies, group exhibitions (more than 130), and held about 65 solo exhibitions (Paris, Willach, Klagenfurt, Zagreb, Belgrade) worldwide. He has received several awards in Slovenia and abroad. He lives and works in Ljubljana. The intertwining of the past, present, and future is one of the most important characteristics of Pavlič’s art, which often exists as a fusion of painting and sculpture.
