About the author:

He was born in 1942 in Portogruaro, Italy. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, where he began his artistic evolution spanning more than three decades of creation.

His artistic development encompasses a series of key phases:

  • The early period of materiality and Informel

  • The Constructivist and Op-Art phase influenced by Malevich and Vasarely (especially during the Paris period of the 1970s)

  • The geometric and structuralist stage

  • The period of controlled gesturality and monochromy in the 1980s

In his later period, he developed a recognizable style characterized by:

  • Radically pure coloristic expression (light through color)

  • Extremely refined tonal relations

  • The expressive power of color within strictly geometric systems

  • Structural purity combining rational analysis with poetic vision

Throughout his career, he held numerous solo and group exhibitions across Italy and Europe, consistently developing his vision of abstract art. He still lives and works in his hometown of Portogruaro, where he continues his artistic explorations.
