About the author:Giuliana Racco was born in 1976 in Toronto (Canada). She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and from the Institute of Architecture in Venice. She has exhibited solo in Toronto and participated in 6 group exhibitions (Venice, Strasbourg, Bassano del Grappa, London, Milan). She lives and works in Venice. Her artistic process is based on fragmenting (cutting up a postcard) of Rab motifs into identical formal units. Interwoven with motifs of Venice, it evokes associations suggesting historical, tourist, and artistic messages.
