About the author:Giuliana Racco was born in 1976 in Toronto (Canada). She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and from the Institute of Architecture in Venice. She has held solo exhibitions in Toronto and participated in 6 group exhibitions (Venice, Strasbourg, Bassano del Grappa, London, Milan). She lives and works in Venice. Her artistic process is based on fragmenting (cutting postcards) of Rab motifs into the same formal units. Intertwined with the Venice motif, it evokes associations suggesting historical, touristic, and artistic messages.
