About the author:
He was born in 1941 in Osijek, where he began his life journey that would lead him to Zagreb. Although he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, his lifelong passion was always art. He studied painting under numerous renowned painters, thoroughly adopting techniques and developing his own distinctive style.
In the early 1970s, he began his exhibiting career, which over the years included about 30 solo and nearly 100 group exhibitions. As a member of the Association for Visual Fine Culture, he actively participates in the artistic life, exploring new expressive possibilities and sharing his experiences.
Although his medical career laid the foundation for his scientific thinking, it was painting that became the central expression of his creativity. He lives and works in Zagreb, where he continues to create works reflecting his deep introspection, a blend of scientific precision and artistic freedom. His oeuvre testifies to a lasting quest for beauty, truth, and meaning, both in nature and in the human soul.
