Scarselli Marcello – The Piano

About the author:He was born in 1953 in Santa Mana Monte (Pisa), Italy. After graduating from the Technical Institute of Pontedera in Pisa, he attended drawing and sculpture courses, and then studied at the International School of Graphic Art II in Bison (Florence). This painter, draftsman, and sculptor began his career in the 1970s participating in numerous group exhibitions and design interventions in various spaces. Recognized and known for his eclectic approach, with hints of abstract expressionism and semiotics of children’s gestural drawing. His artistic work has become established and affirmed over the past 11 years with numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad: Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, England. He participates by exhibiting at numerous national and international art fairs such as “Niče Expo” (France) or the Royal Opera Arcade gallery (London). His most recent exhibitions have been held at the Medici Riccardi Palace in Florence and at the Mediceo Seravezza palace.
