Đuro Seder – Marina

He was born in 1927 in Zagreb. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Antun Mejzdić. He completed his painting specialization under Prof. Marin Tartaglia. He was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, where from 1983 to 1987 he served as dean. He lives and works in Zagreb. He is a member of HAZU. He is one of the most important figures in contemporary Croatian painting. He has also published poetry. His paintings are found in museums, galleries, and private collections both domestically and internationally.
