Širić Diana – Untitled

Ana Diana Širić was born on October 2, 1978, in Zagreb, where she completed her secondary and higher education at the School of Applied Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts. From 1996 to 2001, she studied painting in the class of Prof. Kokot, and then sculpture (2001–2005) at the same Academy in the class of Prof. S. Gračan. She completed additional teacher training at the Pedagogical Academy. She is a member of HDLU. So far, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held several solo exhibitions.

Her painting oeuvre is characterized by a traditional figurative expression, dealing with themes of still life, cityscapes, landscapes, and portraits. Today, her main focus is sculpture. She lives and works in Zagreb.
