About the author:She was born in 1987 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing secondary education at the School of Applied Arts, specializing in textile design, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, in the teaching program, in the class of Prof. R. Tadić, where she earned a master’s degree in painting as well as restoration and conservation. In 2006, she attended a specialist mosaic school in Ravenna, Italy. She regularly participates in exhibitions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and European countries, and takes part in numerous colonies and workshops. She is active in organizing various artistic projects that combine different skills through art-based work. She represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Mediterranean Young Artists Biennale in Milan, the Young Artists Biennale in England, and at a collective drawing exhibition in Japan. She is an active participant in “Sarajevo Winter” (an international festival), a member of the M.L.A.Z art association, and the Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She lives in Sarajevo, where she works as a senior assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts.
