Stojanovski Krunislav – From the Meanders Cycle – Hommagea’knifer 1

A Croatian painter born in Skopje, Macedonia. He studied veterinary medicine and architecture, and graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of today’s emeritus Professor Đuro Seder. He studied Public Art in the USA, at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg, and in 1998 professionally worked and advanced at the Cable Factory in Helsinki. He is a member of HDLU and HZUS. He has exhibited in about 20 solo exhibitions and over 30 group exhibitions. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including those from UNICEF and UNESCO in the field of art. He works in painting, drawing, installation, photography, video, and writing.

The themes of his artistic work have strong social, humanistic, and ecological connotations with a special emphasis on the individual and their role and significance on this planet. He is a painter of abstract expressionism who, creating his own archetypes of pictorial narrative, expresses his transformed vision of color in the fields of pure painting in one breath, where color carries the visual story.
