Stojanovski Krunislav – Meander 2

The Croatian painter was born in Skopje, Macedonia. He studied veterinary medicine and architecture and graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of the current emeritus professor Đuro Seder. He studied Public Art in the USA, at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg, and since 1998 has been working professionally and advancing his skills at the Cable Factory in Helsinki. He is a member of HDLU and HZUS. He has exhibited in about 20 solo exhibitions and over 30 group exhibitions. He has received many awards, including those from UNICEF and UNESCO in the field of art. He is engaged in painting, drawing, installation, photography, video, and writing.

The themes of his artistic work have strong social, humanistic, and ecological connotations, with a particular emphasis on the individual and their role and significance on this planet. He is a painter of abstract expressionism who, having created his own archetypes of pictorial narration, breathes a transformed vision of color into fields of pure painting where color carries the visual story.
