Stojanovski Krunislav – Spaces 2

The Croatian painter was born in Skopje, Macedonia. He studied veterinary medicine and architecture, and graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of today’s emeritus prof. Đuro Seder. He studied Public Art in the USA, at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg, and in 1998 he professionally worked and specialized at the Cable Factory in Helsinki. He is a member of HDLU and HZSU. He has exhibited in about 20 solo exhibitions and over 30 group exhibitions. He has received numerous awards, including those from UNICEF and UNESCO in the field of art. He engages in painting, drawing, installation, photography, video, and writing.

The themes of his artistic work have strong social, humanistic, and ecological connotations, with a special emphasis on the individual and their role and significance on this planet. He is a painter of abstract expressionism who, creating his own archetypes of painterly narrative, breathes out his transformed vision of color in fields of pure painting where color carries the artistic story.
