Stojanovski Krunislav – Untitled

The Croatian painter was born in Skopje, Macedonia. He studied veterinary medicine and architecture, and graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of the current emeritus professor Đuro Seder. He studied Public Art in the USA, at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg, and in 1998 professionally worked and perfected his skills at Cable Factory in Helsinki. He is a member of HDLU and HZUS. He has exhibited in about 20 solo exhibitions and over 30 group exhibitions. He has won numerous awards, including those from UNICEF and UNESCO in the field of art. He is engaged in painting, drawing, installation, photography, video, and writing.

The themes of his artistic work have strong social, humanistic, and ecological connotations with a particular emphasis on the individual and their role and significance on this planet. He is a painter of abstract expressionism who, by creating his own archetypes of painterly narration, breathes out a transformed personal vision of color in fields of pure painting where color carries the pictorial story.
