Šuljak Mare – Untitled

Born in 1983 in Dubrovnik. Graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Zlatko Keser. Participated in a study exchange at the Academy in Katowice, Poland, as a Ceepus student. Has so far exhibited in several group exhibitions and two solo exhibitions. Participant in various art workshops and colonies. Marino’s visual expression is not limited to the painted canvas. She also expresses herself through photography – digital prints (the series “Constellations”). Her virtual spaces are often filled with mesh screens and graphic elements incorporating objects borrowed from the external world. By multiplying these and playing with dimensions, she creates her own imaginary world as a product of enjoyment in play, continuous layering, and exploration.
