About the author:
He was born in 1957 in Kolozsvár (present-day Cluj-Napoca, Romania). In 1983, he graduated in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskola), where he studied under the mentorship of prominent professors Ignác Kókas and Gábor Dienes. Since completing his studies, his artistic work has been inextricably linked to Budapest, the city where he lives and creates.
He began his solo exhibition career as early as 1983 and has to date realized 29 solo exhibitions. Simultaneously, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Hungary and abroad, gaining significant recognition on the international art scene. His works, distinguished by a recognizable personal style, are held in the collections of prestigious museums and galleries as well as private collections, attesting to the enduring value of his creativity. Over four decades of artistic work, he has developed a unique visual expression that combines the tradition of Hungarian modern painting with a distinctive personal approach.
