Tumpić Vanja – Landscape

Vanja Tumpić (born February 29, 1972, in Zagreb) is a Croatian visual artist who lives and works in Zagreb and Rovinj. After completing the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the classes of Professors Eugen Kokot, Zlatan Vrkljan, and Zlatko Keser. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Independent Artists, HDLU, HDLU Istria, and the Rovinj Art Colony.

Tumpić is known for her figurative painting, often exploring themes of landscapes, city views, and everyday life, with a focus on the Mediterranean environment. Her 2020 series My Struggle with Illness was created during the pandemic and the Zagreb earthquake, representing an intimate diary expressed in a warm and sincere visual language.
