Turco Marigrazia – On

About the author:She was born in Venice in 1948. Marigrazia spent her early youth in a villa on the Lido that radiated hospitality and was a meeting place for Ailgiero and Gualtietro Boetti. At six years old, she played the harp and painted her first portraits. Her first choice was contemporary dance (in 1964, she won a dance award). She then left dance and devoted herself to design, which allowed her to more fully express her creative ideas. In Venice, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. In 1974, she graduated in painting and scenography. After completing her studies in painting and scenography, she went to Algeria. Upon returning to Venice (in 1993), she taught artistic disciplines at the High School of Art in Venice. Since 1993, she has withdrawn to her studio and exhibits in galleries less and less.
