About the author:

He was born in 1948 in Venice, a city that would permanently mark his artistic sensibility. After finishing graphic school, a key moment in his formation was a painting course with the legendary Oskar Kokoschka, whose distinctive expressionist style left an indelible mark on his artistic handwriting.

He professionally specialized in three fundamental graphic techniques – lithography, chalcography, and serigraphy – which he studied through intensive work periods in Rome and his native Venice. This profound connoisseur of graphic traditions developed a recognizable personal expression that merges the skill of master craftsmanship with an individual visual language.

His exhibition career included numerous solo presentations across European cultural capitals, while his works entered the collections of prestigious museums and private collectors, attesting to their enduring artistic value.

Although Venice remains his main creative base, the artist often finds inspiration and spiritual peace in the silence of the Dalmatian islands, where his sensitive perception uncovers new expressive possibilities. This dynamic relationship between the urban pulse of Venice and the Mediterranean pastoral idyll of the Dalmatian archipelago has become an integral part of his artistic philosophy.

Through his work, he continues the tradition of Venetian masters, while simultaneously offering fresh visual reflections that transcend media and techniques, always with special attention to the emotional potential of the visual language.
