Vicari Marika – Under the Sun 2

She was born in 1979 in Vicenza. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and completed a specialization study in Visual Arts and Production at the University of Architecture in Venice. She has exhibited in numerous group and solo international exhibitions and is a recipient of significant awards at biennial international exhibitions. She lives and works in Vicenza, Venice, and Ptuj.

Her painting research originates from the exploration of imaginary forms in the process of reconstructing the depicted, which develops mainly on an intellectual level, leading the narrative towards nature. These are linear elaborations, monochromatic, guided by complex rigor. Marika essentially investigates the nature of the image by composing the structure of vision in its two-dimensional meaning.
