Vladimir Petrik – Bell Tower (Towers)

He was born in 1953 in Bratislava, Slovakia. From 1969 to 1973, he attended the school of applied arts, and then in 1973 enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where he graduated in the department of mural painting, in the class of Prof. Robert Dubravec, Prof. František Gajdoš, and Prof. Dezider Castiglione. In 2003, he earned his doctorate at the same academy. He works in painting, graphics, drawing, illustration, film work, and creates monumental wall paintings, murals, and frescoes. He teaches at the Design Institute at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, where he lives and works artistically.
