Vollmann Elena – Untitled

Elena Vollmann is a Russian-German painter currently residing in Florence, Italy. She was born in Kazakhstan on May 7, 1971. From 1985 to 1988, she attended painting school in her hometown, then studied fashion design at Omsk University in Russia. From 1996 to 1999, she specialized in fashion design at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Since 1999, she has devoted herself to painting, creating artworks by combining different materials, styles, and techniques. She also gained experience in the fashion world. In 2009, she participated in two courses at “Bottega del Bonfresco” in Florence, where she studied the fresco painting technique. She decorates many private and public spaces with frescos. She has also been awarded for her work in Italy.
