About the author:
He was born in 1963 in Zagreb. He graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1987 in the class of Prof. Ferdinand Kulmer. He is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists in Zagreb and the Croatian Association of Independent Artists. In 1993, he was included in the encyclopedia of fine arts, and in 2000 in the Kunstwerk catalog, an annual publication of modern fine arts in Germany. His first solo exhibition was organized by Gallery Nova in Zagreb (the catalog’s foreword was written by Tonko Maroević). To date, he has held about fifty solo exhibitions in Croatia and Europe. He has won several awards (1st prize Grisia in Rovinj, Porin award in Opatija). He lives and works in Zagreb. He has remained faithful to his greatest passion – color, its expressiveness and dynamics.
