Born in Frysztak, Poland, in 1974. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the class of Pro-fessor Rođinski trom 1994 to 1999. In 1998hespentastudyyearinGermany asascholarshipholderoftheM3nistry of culture and art. Today he teaches dravving at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He has co-founded the art group Kontrapost. In 2005 he won the Grand Prix at the 36th National contest of contemporary painting ’Bielska Autumn’, He has exhibited his work at many individual and group shows in Poland, Ukraine and Switzerland. Last year he received a ’Young Poland’ scholarship which enabled him to publish a monograph-catalogue. His opus fališ vvithin the postmodem ’retum ofthe painting’, realistic and representational. He creates in cycles and for the past two years his expression has approachcd that of the photo-realism. His paintings can be found in many museum and private collections in Poland, including EK Frissiras Museum in Athens. He lives and works in Krakow
