Mamikon Yengibarian (born 1963 in Yerevan, then Soviet Armenia) is an Armenian-Hungarian sculptor based in Budapest. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan (1981–1987) and furthered his education at the College of Fine Arts in Leningrad (1985–1986). Afterward, he moved to Berlin and settled in Budapest in 1990.
His most renowned work from the 1990s is the series of bronze sculptures titled “Vagabonds,” exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1999. He is also the creator of the notable sculpture “Tumble Over” located in the Gresham Palace in Budapest, now part of the Four Seasons Hotel. His oeuvre includes public sculptures in Hungary and Italy, and his works are present in private collections in Italy, Hungary, and the United States.
