“Her opus is alive, growing, and lasting alongside us for over twenty years, confirming the view that an artist can survive alone, outside of groups and trends. She carries color within herself; it does not need to be considered, it is always the most important to her, connecting every touch with the objective world. It is no surprise that her painterly handwriting unfolds the search and discovery within Matisse’s Fauvist interpretation of reality. She starts from the perception of recognizable space which she decomposes to compose the image’s harmony. She breaks it down to unite it into a new quality… And she finds painterly sensation in the harshness of flat, sharply edged planes, in the crispness of right angles and in the construction of architectural elements, but also in the softness, pliability, and playfulness of palm or aralia leaves. She simply delights in the new harmony of fragments of the concrete world, in the discipline of creation and the order of scenic articulation.” (Branka Arh)
