Zvonković Blaženka – Rock Piles

She was born in 1970 in Zagreb. She completed the School of Applied Arts and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, graduating in the class of Prof. V. Jordan. She spent the first two years in Venice at the Accademia di Belle Arti in the class of Prof. E. Vedova. She has exhibited at over fifty group exhibitions both domestically and abroad. Notably, she highlights exhibitions in Venice, the Zagreb Salon, Bežanec Castle, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Karlovac, Trogir, and numerous exhibitions in Zagreb. She participates with her works in numerous humanitarian exhibitions and auctions. She expresses herself in pastel and oil on canvas. She is an art teacher and teaches in high school. She lives and works in Zagreb. The rich structure of the painterly field is an essential characteristic of her work. In the layered fabric of the painting, she develops scenes of classical motifs: landscapes, vedute, still lifes, and genre scenes.
