Zvonković Blaženka – Sailboats 2

She was born in 1970 in Zagreb. She completed the School of Applied Arts, and later the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, graduating in the class of Prof. V. Jordan. She spent the first two years in Venice at the Accademia di Belle Arti in the class of Prof. E. Vedova. She has exhibited in over fifty group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. She especially highlights exhibitions in Venice, the Zagreb Salon and Bežanec Castle, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Karlovac, Trogir, as well as numerous exhibitions in Zagreb. She participates with works in numerous humanitarian exhibitions and auctions. She expresses herself through pastel and oil on canvas. She is a fine arts teacher and teaches in a high school. She lives and works in Zagreb. The rich structure of the pictorial field is a significant characteristic of her work. Within the layered fabric of the painting, she develops scenes of classic motifs: landscapes, vedutas, still lifes, and genre scenes.
