Zvonković Blaženka – View of the Bell Towers of Rab

She was born in 1970 in Zagreb. She completed the School of Applied Arts and later the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, graduating in the class of Prof. V. Jordan. She spent the first two years in Venice at the Accademia di Belle Arti in the class of Prof. E. Vedova. She has exhibited at over fifty group exhibitions both domestically and abroad. She especially highlights exhibitions in Venice, the Zagreb Salon and Bežanec Castle, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Karlovac, Trogir, and numerous exhibitions in Zagreb. She participates with works in numerous humanitarian exhibitions and auctions. She expresses herself in pastel and oil on canvas. She is a professor of fine arts and teaches at a high school. She lives and works in Zagreb. The rich structure of the painterly field is an essential characteristic of her work. In the layered texture of the painting, she develops scenes of classical motifs: landscapes, cityscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes.
